Bold images, Engaging films, A clear purpose behind every shoot.

We create photography and video for websites, advertising, social media and brand campaigns, helping you show what makes your business worth choosing.

Gary Cooper

Founder & Creative Director of Create The Image

I’m a commercial photographer, filmmaker and the person behind Create The Image.

I help businesses show who they are, what they do and why people should choose them. We do this through photography and video created with a clear purpose.

Photography is at the heart of my work. I love finding the detail, shaping the light and turning an ordinary subject into an image that makes someone stop and look.

That might mean a bold product photograph, a portrait that captures someone’s personality, or a collection of images that brings a business to life. Video adds movement, voice and depth when the story needs it.

Based in London, I work with businesses and agencies across London, Surrey, Kent and throughout the UK.

Let’s Talk About Your Project

A Business Mind Behind the Camera

My background brings together more than 20 years of experience in brand building, people leadership and content strategy.

Before Create The Image, I worked in retail management, leading teams of more than 50 people. That taught me to listen, understand what motivates people and connect everyday decisions to a bigger business goal.

I bring that experience into every shoot.

I want to understand what you’re building, who you need to reach and what your audience needs to see. Those conversations help us make better creative choices, and create content you can put to work.

Photography Led, Video Enhanced, Strategy First

Your business has its own people, personality and story. Your content should reflect that.

At Create The Image, we create commercial photography and video for websites, advertising, social media, product launches and business communications.

Some clients need one standout image. Others need a complete brand shoot, customer testimonial films or an ongoing library of content.

Whatever the project, we start by agreeing what the work needs to communicate and where it will be used. That gives the creativity a direction.

The C.R.E.A.T.E. Method™

A clear brief makes room for better ideas.

I developed the C.R.E.A.T.E. Method™ to guide the conversations and decisions behind effective visual content. It helps us connect your business goals to what we create, how you use it and what we learn afterwards.

C — Clarify

Understand what you want to achieve.

We explore your business goals, your audience and the challenge your content needs to address.

Are you introducing your brand, explaining a service, launching a product or helping potential customers feel confident about choosing you?

R — Refine

Find the message that matters.

We identify what makes your offer relevant and distinctive, then refine the story we need to tell.

This helps us decide what to show, what to explain and what deserves the audience’s attention.

E — Establish

Set the creative direction.

We agree the visual approach, the content required and the practical plan.

That includes the photography or video style, locations, people, products and key shots, so everyone understands what we’re working towards.

A — Align

Connect the content to its audience and use.

We plan for where your assets will appear and what people need at that point in their customer journey.

An advertising image needs to attract attention. A service film may need to explain. A customer testimonial can help someone make a decision.

We consider those jobs before we shoot, including the formats and compositions you’ll need.

T — Track

Look at how the content performs.

We agree what useful progress looks like and, where performance information is available, review how the assets are working.

Depending on the project, that could include engagement, website visits, enquiries or feedback from customers and your team.

E — Evolve

Use what we learn to improve what comes next.

We identify what to keep, what to adapt and what your next collection of content needs to include.

For ongoing clients, this helps each shoot build on the last and keeps the content connected to the business as it develops.

The method scales to the project. A focused product shoot needs a proportionate brief; an ongoing content partnership gives us more scope to track, review and evolve together.

Content for the Whole Customer Journey

Different people need different reasons to pay attention, trust you and take the next step.

I use the customer journey to help identify what your content needs to do:

  • Awareness: introduce your business and attract attention.

  • Consideration: explain your offer and show your expertise.

  • Decision: provide evidence through case studies, testimonials and relevant examples.

  • Conversion: make the offer and next step clear.

  • Retention: keep customers informed, supported and connected.

We choose the photography and video that support the stages most relevant to your brief.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

You can expect curiosity, honest advice and a collaborative approach.

I’ll ask questions, bring ideas and help you feel prepared. During the shoot, I’ll guide the people involved and pay attention to the details that shape the finished work.

You don’t need to arrive with a complete creative concept. We can develop that together.

My aim is to make the experience enjoyable and deliver a collection of assets you’re proud to put in front of your customers.

I can’t promise that an image or film will guarantee sales. I can commit to understanding your goals, creating with care and delivering the work we’ve agreed.

Let’s Create Something With Purpose

Tell me about your business, what you’re planning and what you’d like people to see.

Whether you need fresh brand photography, bold product images, a business film or an ongoing content partnership, we’ll start with a conversation.
