Branded Images To Your Brand Guidelines

We was asked to create some images for SMC’s Training and Development department. They wanted to have photos of people who were being trained and the trainers, which would then be blown up and printed to be displayed in the walk ways leading to the training rooms.

The marketing team also said that they had a certain look for all the images they use as a brand and would we be able to match this? Of course we was able to match this, its really important that your images repersent your brand and not just random shots.

So what was the certain look that they needed??

It was this blue overlay to the images background.

The prep before the shoot was to check over the clients branding document and make sure we was able to produce the required finish results they needed.

We had all the colour codes and editing instrustions, so we ran some test edits for the client to make sure they was happy with the results.

In the week leading up to the shoot, we spoke again to the client to talk about how to make everyone look their best for the shoot.

There is a blog post called Portrait Ready which we put together to help clients get ready for their shoot, so check it out.

On the day of the shoot we spent the half a day on site with a group of 8 team members who were selected to be in the photos.

We set up different training exercises from theory sessions and text book learning to practical learning and setting up test equipment.

There was a great team that took part in the photo session, they was up for trying different set ups and working on creating the type of images we needed.

With the extra editing needs of the client, we made sure to share updates with the client so they could let us know what was working for them and the key images they wanted to have printed.
